Did you know that glyphosate – the active ingredient in Roundup® – is the most widely used weed-killing chemical on farms, lawns, schoolyards, golf courses and other public spaces? Also extensively applied to many crops before harvest, a whopping 276 million pounds of glyphosate was used in the U.S. in 2014 and its use continues to climb.

Independent labs have revealed alarming levels of glyphosate and its residues in many popular foods, as well as beverages, drugs, water sources and soil. There are indications that products like Roundup® contain other ingredients called adjuvants, which actually may enhance the toxicity of the product, so this problem may be even more serious.

There are multiple problems with official testing… The FDA previously tested various foods as part of a pesticide exposure program, but it never tested for glyphosate. Just when growing public concern and pressure was pushing the FDA towards testing for glyphosate, that testing has now been halted indefinitely. Other than the limited independent testing that’s been done on select foods, there is no other way to know how much glyphosate is in your food or your water – or what levels you are exposed to.

In the U.S., the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers glyphosate to be non-carcinogenic, primarily based on documents provided by its manufacturer, Monsanto. On the other hand, in March 2015, the World Health Organization (WHO), which does its own independent analysis, determined that glyphosate is a probable carcinogen. This means it probably causes cancer.

As part of their worldwide study on environmental exposure to glyphosate and water sampling program, the Health Research Institute (HRI) in Iowa has developed a Glyphosate Water Test kit that will allow you to determine glyphosate levels in your water source.

The benefits of this test are two-fold. By participating in this study, you will:

    • Contribute valuable information to help HRI better understand the extent of glyphosate exposure and contamination
    • Learn the presence of glyphosate in your water source

For your convenience, we are offering a Water Test Kit developed by HRI as part of the study. Ordering this kit automatically allows you to participate in the study. By completing the questionnaire, you’ll receive valuable clues about your environmental exposure and help HRI develop a map of such exposure.

Simply order the Water Test Kit, then take a sample of your tap water, lake water, water fountain water, bottled water or other water supply .The test kit contains everything you need – just send your water sample and completed survey.

If you live in the U.S. (Alaska and Hawaii included) your return postage is paid. If mailing outside the U.S., you will need to pay your own return postage.

We are providing these third party kits to you at no profit to us in order for you to participate in this environmental study. Thus, we’re unable to offer any promotions or discounts or accept coupons on these kits at this time.

I encourage you to participate in this study today!

Due to the nature of this product, this test kit is exempt from all promotions as well as Healthy Rewards discounts and coupons (including the PremierPlus 10% discount).

Because of the import restrictions and state laws in place for the Glyphosate Water Test Kit, we are unable to ship this product to New York state or anywhere outside of the U.S. or Canada.

Please Note: This testing is performed by an independent research organization. Dr. Mercola does not personally review or evaluate individual test results.
