This is a great juicer - easy to clean, runs very well and by comparison, the best for the money. Only thing I would change about the design is to make the opening a bit wider (some carrots are so large that they need to be cut up in order to feed through).

Juicer is really good. It is very easy to use and clean. The juice is healthy and tastes great! You should see the pulp and it is really dry as the juicer extracts all the juice from the fruit/vegetable. I juiced spinach, orange, apple, carrots, ginger etc and the juicer does a great job. We are already seeing the health benefit as fresh juice boosts the energy immediately. I was centrigugal juicer before i got my omega juicer. Omega juicer is worth the price.

I kept reading Dr. Mercola's recommendation about how great the Omega 8003 juicer is. Now, I do fully trust and have faith in Dr. M's word. However, I would go into my kitchen and see the $600.00 twin-gear Green Power, the $500.00 Vita-Mix, the Champion, the Jack LaLanne and the Acme Supreme Juicerator 5001 juicers sitting way back on the bottom shelf of my cupboard, unused, unwanted and unloved. I really appreciate the benefits of juicing but the above mentioned juicers are big pains in the patootie to drag out, assemble & then take over 20-30 minutes to fully clean and let air dry.
FINALLY, I took the plunge and purchased the Omega 8003. WOO-HOO!! Jump back kids and slap me five!!! I am heel-clicking, back-flipping, totally IN LOVE with this super, fabulously awesome juicer. It is definitely all Dr. M said and EVEN MORE!!!
The Omega is very fast and easy to assemble. Being a "Protein Type" I only juice spinach, green beans, celery and small amounts of cauliflower. The pulp comes out dry as a bone and the clean up………………………ARE YOU READY FOR THIS???????............................is between 1-2 minutes. Yep, that's right………just one to two minutes. The juice is a beautiful color, not at all oxidized and is SO delicious tasting. I am so thrilled with the over-all performance of the Omega 8003 that I invite people over just to see how grandly this little sweetie performs.
I would urge anyone thinking about juicing to DEFINITELY buy the Omega 8003 Juicer. Your health deserves it!!! Actually I give the Omega 8003 ONE HUNDRED STARS!!!

This is a very effecient, easy-to-clean juicer that simply gets the job done well. For an improvement I would recommend increasing the circumference of the plunging space since some vegetables like carrots need to be cut up before they can be put through. I would also make the auger a bit sharper. Overall, well worth the money.
